1st day of preschool

Well, we had no tears!!! (ok except for mommy & maybe daddy)  The kids are attending St Mark's Mini School in Florissant for preschool.  They were so excited, I hope that they have a fun day and I can't wait to start hearing about every single day and everything they are going to start learning.  Below are some pics from this morning, if you want to see all 53 (yes this mommy went a little crazy with photos) you can see the album on google here.

Preparing for school!

It's Labor Day weekend! Which means I have an extra day of fun... I mean organization. The house is a mess, I have about 6 loads of laundry downstairs and we are out of food. The kids start school on Wednesday, so I have to use my extra day to get us a little more organizes and prepared. 

I also rearranged my cabinets, for like the fifth time this year, because the kids are just getting into the food and then not eating what I fixed for them. Plus they like to help me empty the dishwasher and now they can reach where their cups and plates go. 

On today's agenda I will be going to Sam's to stock up on food that according to my new food schedule/calendar should last us for the month. We shall see about that. Then we are heading to Grandma and Grandpa Sanders for a BBQ.

Tomorrow... Laundry! 

A day up the river road

On Saturday we took a drive up the Great River Road. We wnt all the way up to Pere Marquette and played for a bit. Then we stopped in Grafton and ate lunch at the Loading dock. On the way home we stopped by Gigi and Bpaw's and visited with them for a while. It was hot but it was a great day!
